It was really nice this year to get together with our families to celebrate and remember those who have gone before us. We visited 4 cemeteries this year. It is funny how GREAT you feel after having spent just a little time talking about the loved one and sharing experiences you have had. It was wonderful to listen to Grandma Sasser talk about her family and show us places that she lived. She will be 90 in August!! What a wonderful experience we had getting to share that day with her. (I will show pictures of her in my next post)

Here we are in Holbrook, Id. We also stopped at the cemetery in Rockland. Funny, but I also have relatives that are buried there....right next to Ken's!

This picture is taken in Jerome Idaho. This is where my grandparents are buried. I had so much fun telling my boys about the experiences I had with my grandparents. I sure miss my grandfather. I wish my boys could have known him. He still is a great help to me today as I remember the things he taught me. I hope to never forget! (Yes I have written things down in my personal "paper" journal)

This is the grandfather that Travis is named after. His name is Enoch Paul Madson. He would always tell me about our ancestors that came from South Africa. He said "You watch sis, one day you will have a black baby" WELLLLLLLL........yes I did!!!!! Travis ENOCH Woods.
