Jaren's Jazz concert
Every day I am proud of my boys. All of them. Some days though I am extra proud of a certain boy and his accomplishments. This day was one of those days that I was especially proud of Jaren. He is involved in the Jazz band at his high school. This year they won a spot to play at Disney Land in California and so the Jazz band puts on a Dinner/Dance to raise money to go. Jaren normally plays the Tuba in the school band but because it was Jazz band and "no Tuba's" he had to learn a completely different instrument! He chose to learn the Trombone. They practiced each morning before school for the past 2 months. They have a book of songs to learn too. I can't say that I didn't think he could do it because I knew he could, it's just that he did it SO WELL!! That band was wonderful! The food was wonderful! It was a very fun night. They had it all decorated so nice and I was impressed (not that that means anything :~))
It doesn't look like it but there were ALOT of people there! WAY TO GO JAZZ BAND!!!
Here is Ken, his Mom, his Grandmother, and his Aunt Ileen.
Jaren actually had to help fix the meal!!
